I Can Time Travel

I can travel through time.
I've been meaning to write about it for a long time. I've had this ability for as long as I can remember. I am sure that I am not the only one who can do this but I love it just the same.
Keep in mind that when I travel back in time it lasts only for a few seconds but the feeling is always the same. It's as if I never left in the first place.
How do I do it?
My remarkable sense of smell.
It only takes one smell of certain things and I am instantly transported back in time, to certain events or different times in my life.
I have posted a few below that NEVER vary. I am always taken back to the same place with each one and am always reminded of the same people or persons.

The ever beautiful Iris. One smell of this gorgeous flower
and I am instantly taken back to my back yard in Hibbard, Idaho where
the entire length of our house was purple Iris'. They smell like
grape Kool-Aid which I happened to drink plenty of back in those days.

Another Iris. This variety is not as fragrant.

This one is just darn pretty.

The Lilac. I will forever have a love affair with the Lilac.
One smell and I am instantly back in my Grandparents yard in Hibbard, Idaho.
This smell will always remind me of my Grandma and feelings of safety and warmness come to mind. This particular bush produces a double flower so you have twice as many petals!

I also love lilacs and they totally take me back in time too. This is what I like to put at my moms grave. I love your posts!

You need to teach me how to Blog. I feel so out of it. I tried setting up a blog tonight but I fear that I am failing terribly.
