Girls Day Out

I took the girls to Gardner Village the other day for a little fun since it is Fall Break and there is no school. It was so busy!!!! But we had a good time complete with face painting, carmel apples and lots of running around. I lovvvvvvveeeeeeeeeee fall. Not as much as I love summer mind you, but there is something about the change in the air, the leaves falling, pumpkins, the need for sweaters and jackets that just makes me happy. Not to mention pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, weather that has cooled off so we can make steaming, yummy soups and rolls, Halloween, the sound of leaves crunching under your feet, bringing in the last of my tomatoes and other garden goods before the frost comes, raking up the fallen leaves so we can jump in them, the reds, oranges and yellows that Mother Nature puts on display. I could go on and on. I like it a-LOT!

Ella got a Kitty painted on her face which lasted about an hour and a half before
she picked it off. Kate got a skull. You could say it matches her mood lately....
Doing some Witch watching.

LOVE those darn Carmel Apples
Ella eats the Carmel and I eat the apple.

I need the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie recipe. It sounds delicious and so festive.

I love Fall weather as well (not to mention all the fall color). The crisp, cool nights are awesome, especially when it's usually so humid here.
