That's Alot Of Elephants

I am a sucky blogger. I must admit I have had zero interest in blogging lately but Ella said the funniest thing tonight and if I don't get it recorded I know I will forget what she said and then I will regret it. She is still so little and naive and the look on her face as she asked me a question was priceless. Here goes:

I was watching a show on The Learning Channel about a man who was morbidly obese and weighedover a thousand pounds. No joke. These shows are interesting to me for some reason and Ella comes in the room just as the show is showing pictures of this poor guy and talking about how he weighs as much as FIVE baby elephants.
Ella hears this, turns to me with the most sincere expression and total disbelief in her voice says:
"How many elephants did he eat?"


I was hysterical with laughter and had tears running down my face. She of course knew I was laughing at what she had said and then got mad at me but I couldn't help myself it was just too, too, too funny. Watch out for those baby elephants, they can really make you pile on the pounds!
