We Own The Hill

We got 9 inches of white fluffy stuff on Thursday night. After Tyler shoveled our driveway and a few of our neighbors the next morning, you would have thought he would have been all tuckered out. Nope. He literally spent the rest of the day shoveling the snow in our backyard into one massive hill, pile, errrr.....thing. The kids helped out a little but what made me really laugh was they were all out there until dark! So today I took some pictures of the masterpiece: Our Own Hill. How cool are we? The news that we have an actual sledding hill WITH a jump at the bottom has managed to stay a secret thus far. It won't last long though and soon we will have all the neighbor kids over here. Sadly I have to report that after only a half day in we have already had an injury. On his first run of the day little Owen Hepworth took a nasty spill and hurt his back. After some tears, he seemed to recover but didn't attempt The Hill again. Maybe another day. To those who read my blog and live in the valley....come on by for some sledding - Olsen style.
